New York Fashion Week - Jason Wu Spring/Summer 2022

Hey guys!

I’m super excited to report on this designer. He was one of the BIG guns that I had wanted to see. I’ve reported on some of the other ones already (go see the other posts).

Jason Wu - what can I say? I am absolutely obsessed with him. WHY? He’s a fashion designer and TAIWANESE! Lol.

No but in all seriousness, his designs are beautiful and super wearable. If you saw both of former First Lady Michelle Obama’s Inaugural gowns, then you’ve seen what I’m talking about. These garments are effortlessly beautiful.

I can honestly say that I was BLOWN AWAY by this Spring/Summer collection that he just showed. Many of the looks featured watercolor abstract floral prints, ruffles, and STATEMENT SLEEVES! I mentioned another designer with statement sleeves, and I think it’s going to be a trend coming up for 2022.

I am SO SO PROUD as a person of Taiwanese decent. GREAT JOB, Jason!
