New York Fashion Week - Badgley Mischka Spring/Summer 2022

Alrighty guys - HEY AGAIN!

I’m back with another NYFW show report!

This one is BADGLEY MISCHKA! I’ve loved their designs for the longest time, so it’s not a surprise that I had to include them in my NYFW schedule this year.

A quick history on the brand for those of you that aren’t familiar with them. This brand is helmed by Mark Badgley and James Mischka. This dynamic duo launched Badgley Mischka in 1988 - immediately catching the eyes of fashion press with their sophisticated style that caters to the younger, more modern couture customer without alienating women of any age. Their designs are timeless and appeal to both celebrities and “regular folk” like me.

Today’s show featured bright fruity, super saturated colors - lemon, lime, mango, persimmon, and gazpacho to name a few. Even their neutral colors had a line of white in them to give those colors a nice milky, smooth glow. The collection showcases many different looks that appeal to various lifestyles, all of which is inspired by Bette Davis in “Now, Voyager,” as well as Italy.

A few of my favorite looks are shown below but to see the entire collection, please go here.

There are more shows that I’ll be reporting on throughout the day and week, so don’t go anywhere!

Until then, stay safe and healthy!
